At The Blocker, we take your family's privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using The Blocker, you agree to this policy.

1. Who We Are

The Blocker is operated by Ask Charly LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Boynton Beach, Florida. Our service provides family internet protection powered by AgeGuard Intelligence™ (Anthropic's Claude AI).

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register or use The Blocker:

• Parent/Guardian information: First name, last name, email address, phone number
• Child information: First name, date of birth (used solely to calibrate age-appropriate filtering)
• DNS activity logs: Domain names requested by devices on your network, timestamps, and filtering decisions made by AgeGuard Intelligence
• Device information: Device names you assign within the app
• Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide DNS filtering and internet protection services
• To send you Morning Reports, Evening Reports, and Daily 30 briefings
• To make outbound calls via Charly when serious content is detected
• To send Device Disconnect Detection (DDD) alerts (AI Edition only)
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To improve our service and AgeGuard Intelligence

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or your children's information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Ever.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate The Blocker:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): Powers AgeGuard Intelligence filtering decisions
• Supabase: Secure database hosting
• Resend: Email delivery
• Twilio: Phone call delivery
• Stripe: Payment processing
• DigitalOcean: Cloud infrastructure
• Netlify: Website hosting

Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements.

6. Data Retention

DNS activity logs are retained for 30 days to power your Morning and Evening Reports. After 30 days, logs are automatically deleted. Account information is retained for as long as your account is active.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database access controls, and limited employee access to personal data. No system is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable precaution to protect your family's information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by canceling your account

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The Blocker is a service for parents and guardians. We collect limited information about children (name and date of birth) solely to provide age-appropriate filtering. We do not collect more information from children than is necessary, and we do not use children's information for any purpose other than providing the filtering service.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes via email. Continued use of The Blocker after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
